- Use a Mild Detergent: Strong detergents can damage delicate shapewear fabrics. Use a mild detergent and avoid bleach or fabric conditioner, as these may weaken the material.
- Air Dry: Do not tumble dry your shapewear. Lay it flat or hang it to air dry naturally. Keep it away from direct sunlight to prevent fading or fabric damage.
- Store Carefully: Fold your shapewear neatly and store it in a drawer or on a suitable hanger. Avoid humid areas and direct sunlight, which may affect its shape and quality.
- Replace When Necessary: Over time, shapewear may lose some of its elasticity and support. Replace the garment when it no longer provides the desired fit, compression or comfort, or if it becomes worn or damaged.
